1. Beechwood sections of width less than or equal to 50 mm are not produced.
2. Beech sections with a length of less than 2000 mm may be produced by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer. 3. Production of sections smaller than 20 mm thick and 50 mm wide shall be made by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer. 4. Details of sections of other types of qualities (lower) are not produced for export (external market) and are made only by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer. 4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 4.1. Section details are made of wood of the following species: Common beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) 4.1.1. Beech lumber for workpiece detail is parched. 4.1.2. No other tree species may be used for the production of sectional details. 4.2. Section details must be plotted. 4.3. The surfaces of the front and non-face sides of the sections must be level and parallel to one another. 4.3.1. Edges must be whole and parallel to one another. 4.3.2. The edges of the faces of the sections must be perpendicular to the side edges. 4.4. The splines are glued to each other with the glue sections specified by the customer. Without any joints between them. 4.5. The length and height of section details is determined by the length and width of the face. 4.6. The humidity of beech sections should be 9 ± 2%. 4.7. Regarding the quality of the wood and the degree of processing, section details meet BDS requirements. 5. RULES FOR ADMISSION AND SAMPLING 5.1. Receiving section details is done in batches. Batch is the amount of detail for sections of the same type, wood look, quality and dimensions. The amount of the lot shall be determined by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer. 5.2. The user is entitled to a control check at which he / she has taken a random sample of up to 5% of the batch. All details of sample sections are checked for compliance with the standard. Moisture is checked for up to 10 pieces. If the sample shows that more than 3% of the details do not meet the standard, the batch is declared non-standard. 5.3. Section details are accepted in m3, with an accuracy of 0.01 m2 being calculated. 6. METHODS OF TESTING 6.1. Each of the section details forming the control sample is checked for compliance with the quality requirements of this standard. 6.2. Dimensions and profiles shall be checked with appropriate measuring instruments to assess the prescribed humidity of beech sections at 9 ± 2%. 6.3. The length and width are assigned to the face: the length - parallel and the width - perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the beech sections. The thickness is checked at both ends and half of the length of the parts and is defined as the arithmetic mean of the three measurements. 6.4. The curvature (longitudinal and transverse) on the front side and on the narrow sides of the glued parts is determined by measuring the joint between the surface of the workpiece and the edge of a control metal guide placed thereon. 6.5. Rectangular and linearity of section details are checked using two metallic lines located perpendicular to one another (corner). 6.6. The quality of workmanship and unspent wood deficiencies are determined by an external view. 6.7. The size of the measurable defects of the wood is determined by BDS *****. The moisture content of the wood is checked using a moisture meter according to BDS 8964-71. In controversy, humidity is determined by the weighing method according to the same standard. 7. PACKAGING AND MARKING 7.1. The beech sections must be packed in a connection. 7.2. Each link should contain details of beech sections of one type, of one wood species, of the same size in thickness, width, length and quality. 7.3. The joints are packed and fastened at both ends with a plastic band width of 10 to 15 mm and a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm, according to BDS *****. The number of beech sections in one connection and the way |
